Hill’s Shire residents for many years, the Dawson's own a lovely property in Arcadia – not far from Peppertree. Caroline is a competitive dressage rider and Trent is a keen leisure rider.
The Dawson’s arena surface had been in place for many years and, understanding the performance and soundness benefits of training on a synthetic surface, they recently reached out to Marty McInerney to discuss the most suitable options.
GeoPro Footing was supplied and installed a custom blend to the Dawson’s arena. The mix was designed specifically to provide the necessary rebound for Caroline’s dressage horses whilst maximising the moisture retention in today’s climatic conditions. The Dawson’s blend included a 15% polypropylene to 85% polyester mix.
Additionally, the Peppertree Contracting supplied the Dawson’s with a Greystone Euro Rake to maintain their service in optimal condition.
The Dawsons are now enjoying a much better arena surface and improved the performance of their horses. They've also been able to reduce their watering and maintenance requirements, saving them time and money.
